Q. What is Vision of Faith?
A. We are a small group that helps ladies to receive funding to have a tubal reversal. We are also a Mom's group where we discuss all aspects of life and support in all things related parenting.
Q. Can anyone join Vision of Faith?
A. Yes, anyone can join. Even if you aren't looking to have a tubal reversal or need funding. We are all moms and look forward to sharing in this journey we call Motherhood.
Q. Do you have to be married or involved in a church to receive help from Vision of Faith for funding?
A. We would like you to be married, but know all situations aren't the same for each couple. We will review each application personally and make a determination. You do not have to be a member of a church in order to join or apply for funding.
Q. How much does this group provide toward funding?
A. We at Vision of Faith will provide up to $1800 toward your TR surgery. While it doesn't seem like a lot its our goal to provide a helping hand as we can't fund your whole surgery. It also makes the portion you pay back to help the next lady very low and economical.
Q. How long does it take to get funding money from Vision of Faith?
A. We would like to fund each member in up to a year, but funds depend and rely on fundraisers and donations. Also, particpating with our sponsors or any programs we list that can help bring in money.
Q. Do I have to apply for the whole $1800 or can I specify the amount I need help with?
A. No if you only need help with $500 then by all means thats great. You don't have to ask for the whole amount. The less you need the quicker it is to get you funded.
Q. IF I make my monthly payments and participate in fundraisers will I be guaranteed the full funding amount?
A. Yes
Q. How often is the fund listed on the main website and message board updated?
A. As long as funds are sent in on time its updated once a month.
Q. Can I make a donation by check , credit card, or money order?
A. Yes you can use a check or credit card through paypal. If you need to send in a money order just contact us for the physical address to mail in the money order. *We will not take personal checks by mail*
Q. If I can't make my donation amount of $25.00 on month will I be terminated?
A. No you will not be terminated, but you will need to notify the appropiate staff member to let them know your situation. Good communication is the key to great success.
Q. Will I be notified once the funding has reached its goal?
A. Yes you will by email and you will also see this information posted on our message board.
Q. Do I have to post frequently to received funding?
A. Yes you do. You will want the ladies in the group to help you and donate their money so them knowing you makes it easy to do.
Q. If I join the funding list, but have to leave the list due to financial or family can I rejoin? Will I get my same spot?
A. Yes we understand life happens. You can always rejoin as a funding member, but each time a $25 fee will be needed. You will not get your same spot unless its still available.
Q. Am I a good candidate for a Tubal Reversal?
A. Almost every woman is a good candidate. If you want more in depth answers please do the following:
First you need to obtain a copy of your sterilization operative reports. And the pathology report if applicable. Then you should contact a doctor that performs tubal reversals on a regular basis. Most doctors will review your reports at no charge. Then they will tell you whether or not they feel that you are a good candidate for this procedure. In many cases tubal ligations are reversable.
Q. Are Fundraisers required to help with surgery costs? Can anyone suggests fundraisers for Vision of Faith?
A. Fundraising: While a good portion of the funding will come from the members' monthly contributions, we also will need to explore other fundraising means. Q. Is profanity allowed on this forum?
A. We are all adults. While we don't want the message board filled with profanity on a regular basis we do have a specific forum for those who need to vent and use language that may not be appropiate.
