Hi! My name is Tia Daugharty, and I am the President of Vision of Faith. Due to a gun accident at a babysitters home, I have been rolling (versus walking) through life since the age of seven. I feel very blessed to be alive and in good health. I am currently 26 years old, and very happily married to Kenneth Daugharty. I have two children from a previous marriage, Mikayia (7), and Maleak (5). Kenneth and I were married on February 16, 2006. My tubal ligation was performed on October 30, 2001 after Maleak's birth. Although I wasn't in favor of the idea, the marriage was not a stable one. Eventually, we divorced and I knew I could finally restore my fertility. God blessed my husband and I with the tubal reversal on May 5, 2006. I have 4cm on the right side, and slightly more than 4cm on the left. After saving for my own surgery, I realized how much I wanted to help other families become whole and find a way to more easily afford their surgeries. A few weeks later, I was able to open up the support group for Visions. A month later, we have our website and funding has started. I am so thankful to God that He provided a way for this to happen. My name is Heather Walter. I am 27 years old. I have been with Chris for 10 years and married to him for 5 of them. I have 2 sons from a previous marriage, Brandon age 13, and Cody 10. I have 2 daughters with Chris, Shalyssa age 8 and Tyja age 6. I had my TL in 2001, 1 year after my youngest daughter was born. We did it because everyone said we had enough kids, and because we honestly didn't know how we would support any more. I remember the doctor asking me if I was sure I wanted it done and I wanted to say no, but I said yes and had it done. I have always regretted the decision. By 2004 I finally admitted that I wanted more children. I researched adoption and IVF, but they were both so expensive that I didn't think it would ever happen, so I put it all on the back burner yet again. Somewhere around mid 2006 I started researching Tubal reversals. I found Vision of Faith and fell in love immediately with the whole group! By recommendation I decided to use Dr. Perez in Mexico for my reversal and had it done on 11/17/2006. Now I am currently TTC. Chris is keeping his fingers crossed for a boy when we do finally get pregnant, but we will love whatever we are blessed with.
